Louisiana Voices is a pioneering online education guide that provides rich teaching resources on Louisiana folk and traditional arts and culture. These lessons target 4th and 8th grades, when students study Louisiana, but they can be adapted to any grade level. The goal of the project is to provide a sound basis for the study of culture and an academically-sound basis for both multicultural and technology education. The Texas Folklife Resources Education Program offers several active and diverse ways to become involved in the folk arts through learning. The Education Program often works directly with schools, through its Residency Program and through Powwow in the Schools. The Education Program also offers a special Apprenticeship Program in which TFR facilitates the learning process between a master artist and someone who would like to learn the tradition.
North Country Folklore Online--has been created by Traditional Arts in Upstate New York [TAUNY] as an introductory resource of educational materials about folklore, folk culture and traditional arts of the North Country of New York State, the 14 counties north of Albany and the Mohawk River. 

FieldWorking Online A Web community archive for cultural conservation. FieldWorking Online provides a space for our collaborative electronic community to share members' local traditions and histories from around America.
The Delta Blues Education Fund: was founded in November, 1992 with the mission statement "to bring together the children and master musicians of the Mississippi Delta for the continuation of the Delta Blues tradition." Approximately eighty-seven percent of its budget is used to pay master Delta Blues artists (and for direct support materials such as musical instruments). Ninety-five percent of the DBEP's apprentices are Black, and most have Native American heritage. Most come from impoverished families, and are between the ages of 9 and 15. Many of the best apprentices are considered "at risk" children in the local school systems. The Delta Community served by the DBEP is sixty-five percent African-American, and predominately rural/agricultural based. 
Mariachi  Education  Resources: a new site designed for students or researchers, by California mariachi musician and teacher, Laura Sobrino, includes information on colleges with mariachi programs listed by state, mariachi curriculum consultants, information on how to reach ethnomusicologists and other specialists, materials for the students including general guides, educational videos, and how to purchase mariachi music transcriptions. The section History of Women in Mariachi Music by Leonor Xóchitl Pérez and Laura Garciacano Sobrino alone is worth a visit.
Dance the Spirit of Cambodia created by the New England Foundation for the Arts and Asia Society to accompany the August 11–September 29, 2001 US tour of a dance troupe from the Royal University of Fine Arts, Phonm Penh. The excellent web resource presents classical and folk dance in context of culture, geography, and history. Content by Toni Shapiro-Phim, Sam-Ang Sam, Rachel Cooper, and others.
EDSITEment, brings together the best of the humanities on the web. It is a constantly growing collection of the most valuable online resources for teaching English, history, art history, and foreign languages. EDSITEment is a joint project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Council of the Great City Schools, MCI WorldCom, and the National Trust for the Humanities.
The Educational Cyber PlayGround maintains a page of national and international links directly related to folk and traditional arts and education. Manager Karen Ellis says the "Site provides teachers, parents, librarians, home schoolers and regular folks a 'webliography' of links to educational resources in a wide range of subjects. With a cool choice of site maps to browse from. Over 6000 links."
